I am looking for some inspiration please I am delivering some training in May called The Learning Environemt Indoors and Out and for the outdoor section I will be taking all the delegates outside to do some practical activities. What I was wondering was whether any of you had been on some really good Outdoor Learning training and whether you have had to do any practical activities that you found really useful and could adapt them back at your settings. Thanks for your help in advance!!!

Hi, I'm doing a summer holidays theme next term and we are going to set up a camping role play outside. Inside we are going to create an ice cream parlour and would really love to take the class to a farm where ice cream is made.....or something similar. Does anybody know of anywhere? My internet searches are not bringing up many results! I'm looking for somewhere in the Wiltshire/Gloucestershire - Bristol/Oxfordshire area!!!! Thanks for any help!! Catherine

Hi All One day I will master the art of using the search facility properly Just recently I read an observation someone kindly posted as an attachment. It had an analysis section on the right hand side, split into the areas of learning. I have hunted high and low and seached and searched with no luck. I am wondering if I dreamt it!! I think, but can't be sure that it was posted by Peggy. I have done all the searches I can think off, spent a couple of hours last night and almost the same tonight. Pleeeasssse can someone tell me I am not going mad, I did read it, and point me in the right direction

Hi everyone - Can anyone suggest stories or other resources that deal with adoption for preschool age children? We would like to support a family with a newly adopted child but don't know of anything suitable. (And apologies for the layout but one of my own children broke the "return" key!) Caro

Please, please can someone help! There was a great plan of aspects and areas posted on this site some where, all in colour for each area of development. A lovely piece of work. I downloaded it and used it in my planning--so easy. But my usual computer has died and i can't find the plan, despite searching for everything i can think of. Please point me in the right direction?

Ice Balloons

Help! This may be a really silly question. I want to make ice balloons for the children to explore. How do you get the water into the balloon and create a big balloon (about 4 - 5 cm) rather than just the unblown up balloon?!!
