Event details
The Moslem festval marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadhan. The festivities begin on the sighting of the new cresecnt moon which is likley to alter slightly in different parts of the world. In the northernm hemisphere Eid is expected on the 4th Novemeber, in the south, it could a day earlier on the 3rd.
The tradtional greeting is Eid Mubarak (blessed Eid).
