About This File
This is a privacy notice for parents and carers that, in our view, meets GDPR requirements.
This is the basic privacy notice - it simply reminds parents of the data they have already provided (on the enrolment form) and reminds them of what you intend to do with their data and the data of their children.
In order to comply with the GDPR requirements you must ensure that you provide additional information that sets out, in detail, what data you are holding, why you are holding it and what you intend to do with it. It is this second, more detailed document that has taken so much time to produce. The full privacy notice is here.
You do not need to provide every parent with the detailed copy. However, you must make sure that it is readily available - that might mean you display it in your entrance hall, post it on your website or provide an individual copy if it is asked for.
You can see the requirements for privacy notices from here.
