I have used E-Profile for years but our school Assessment Manager has decided to use Assessment Manager through SIMS throughout school and I'm told that the EYFSP scores can be added into this system and provide more analysis such as how SEN, EAL, etc. children are doing and is much more comprehensive than e-profile.Does anyone else use Assessment Manager and can let me know how they find it? Any review much appreciated.

Eye Profile 3.2

I have since September being using version 3.0 of the profile. After having some problems with our data - missing points and dates changing I checked on here. Realising that we were rather behind with updates I urged my boss to upgrade and that's what our IT guy did for us last week. We are now running on version 3.2, so we have caught up with the rest of you. Our big problem now is that all our data is now listed as being entered in 'sept'. I am assuming that the new system just defaulted to sept as all our all data was in 'autumn b 10' etc format. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can change this without going through each child's record?

Hello all I hope you can help as i am getting very confused trying to find out how to put together a profile for one of my 3 year olds who is about to change nurseries. This will be the first profile I have provided for another setting. I have the Assessment Scales from the Statutory Framework Guide for the EYFS and have found a useful reference sheet with all of these on on The National Strategies web site. I have found a 'progress record' on the Sound Learning web site that another childminder used when a child transferred into my care-i am not quite sure if this is right though. Last year, our EYFS Adviser downloaded a new version of the eyeProfile onto my laptop at school but I heard there's another new one this year - is that true? Where would I find it? Is it any different from the one we've already got? Thanks

hi everyone.... new to forum and first topic posted so hoping this works. I am new in Reception Class and getting to grips with the Eprofile. I have been told by the (slightly unhelpful) previous YR teaching assistant that the Eprofile can only be saved and used on one computer.... this is apparently how it has always been done. At the moment I have it saved on my classroom computer- which obviously i then cannot work on during my PPA time as cannot be in class... I am hoping someone experienced out there can tell me if this is the case and I can only work on it in school and not from home... HELP!! Rach

Can anyone help? I am trying to get hold of some old data on our EYE profile (for our current Y2s). It has been backed up but when I try and open a backed up file it says there is an error and won't let me. Wondered if anyone has any ideas???
