This is probably discussed somewhere and hope someone can answer!!!!! Rec teacher's lap top died and we have data backed up from old version of e profile - 2.44 I think. THis version will not install on her brand spanking new laptop but eye profile will. However, data so far (all of baseline and Aut updates) will not read into eye profile. Can anyone help -PLEASE!?!?!?!??!?!

Hi We have used eyeprofile for the last year and it was fine. Then our LA data team cam out to update our version to the new one. "It's no problem" they said "the data you already have on the children just transfers straight over" Great! I thought. However, when I opened the data in the new version all the assessments I made on the children I had before september simply read as the chidlren achieving those points in september. We are a bit of a strange setting. We have no nursery but we have pre 5 - take children in the term after they are 4 so some children have time with us before 'reception year'. Is there anywhere you can go to print off the charts that you are able to produce from the eyeprofile? I want to have graphs with preferably fictious pupils on to share the info we obtain from the graphs with a group of TA`s.

Despite searching around the new version, I am unable to find the 'Progress in Components' chart which was an option under the old version. This graph was very useful so hope it hasn't 'disappeared'. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I am so fed up with this Today I entered the childrens assessments for September and an example was I gave a child point1,2 and I wanted to give him point 4 and the computer said no you must missed a point.....I knew I had missed a point ,the child had not achieved this point 3. I phoned the LEA and they said you have to fill in all points 1,2,3 before you can fill in theothers and the others can be non sequential.I argued that I thought they all were,apparantly not the LEA said that all over the country practitioners are finding this and you just have to make a 'note' How rubbish is this ! my HT wants a baseline and I had to explain it all to her....The LEA also said…

HI I was just wondering what information you pass on from the e-profile to the year one teacher. Is there somthing that we can print out to show which early learing goals the children have met and which one's they are till working towards. (of course I talk to the teacher too!) many thanks,

Pre Entry Data In Eye Profile

Hello all! Just a quick question....I wondered if anyone had any advice on how to select the 'pre-entry' option on the e profile? I have read the guidance and done EXACTLY what it tells me to do (select the entry month from the list) but then when I come to entering the data, 'pre-entry' isn't an option. The top box where these words should be written is blank. Any advice would be gratefully received as I am tearing my hair out with frustration! After struggling to get the children's info on to the programme I have now been met with this problem!! AAARRGGGG!!! Many thanks in advance

New Format To Eye-profile

Hello again, Earleir this week while on an EYFS course, it was mentioned that we needed to update our versions of the EYE-profile, which I duly did the following day. The new profile puts in the data according to the months of the year (no longer 'on entry': 'autumn A' etc) and I'm a bit concerned re the prgoress that will be shown. I entered the data for my children as on entry for the first two weeks and then updated some bits towards the end of September as -Autmn A and last week as Autumn A when I'd notcied particular things about the children. Eye Profile Transfer

I wonder if anyone can help me- I have EYE profile installed on school pc, but have a PC at home that I would like to use to complete the profile on it (that way I don't have to do it at school) but I don't know if it is possible (and how easy it is) to transfer info between the pc and laptop when I have updated on one system? Do I have to use either rather than both if that makes sense?
