Does anyone out there have any information regarding a new eProfile coming out? A friend of mine has been told that NAA is no longer and that QCDA ( Old QCA ) are to develop the new eProfile. Just when I thought I was gettting to grips with using it!

Hello everyone hope you are enjoying the new year so far. I'm new to the Foundation Stage and at my school we have just started using EYFS Target Tracker (I'm impressed). I'm updating it with all my profile info as well as updating a paper system but do I need to be? Is the EYFS Target tracker enough with attached photos and a cross referenced evidence file? I feel like I'm doing a paper version for the sake of it at the moment? Any advice is welcome Thanks J

Hi, I am hoping someone can help as my mind is slightly confused over this pre-entry malarkey on the EYe-profile. I have records for about 16 of my new class and after looking through I am just wondering whether for the pre-entry data on the EYe-profile, I enter the data as assessed by their preschool/nursery practitioners or do I enter it using my observations and interactions with the children across the initial few weeks. I'd really appreciate anyone's advice/suggestions as I'm trying to get things sorted before the term gets too hectic as I'm also in the process of house buying and planning a wedding so trying to prioritise and work efficiently. I wonder if anyone who is more capable can answer a Q for me. I have printed out the graphs for last yrs cohort to analyse the data. I have worked out the difference between average point score in Sept and July to calculate progress made across the yr. However when I look at the graph that shows average points progress in a term it doesn't total the same. Which should i use when identifying progress? Hope it makes sense to somebody!

Hi! Hope summer hols are going well! I was just after some help really! I have just started using the EYE profile (since spring a!) and find it good and can give my head all the info he needs. However I seem to remember that you can create your own groups but I cant seem to do this or find any help as to how to do this. For example create a folder for summer born children. Any advice will be great! Thanks

Is anyone using the "Planning for quality in the Early Years" CD ROm management tool? Oxfordshire have currently adopted it and I would love some feedback from practitioners using it. I'm struggling to input my data through my excel 2003 program as it will not accept "macros"........ Thanks

Hi everyone Maybe you have had this discussion already - if so, apologies and could someone please re-direct me to the old postings? If you haven't, I would really like to hear what FS staff think about the e-profile. We currently use a document compiled by our LEA but it is very lengthy and a classful of profiles fills 3 Lever arch files: loads of page turning and not exactly handy to cart about. I like the idea of e-profiles but do they save time? Is there space to date/note the evidence we have collected? I see that the e-profile can be used to generate an end of year 'school report'. Does anyone use this? Would love to hear what you think.

hi all, Not been on here in a while, hope you are all well and looking forward to the summer holidays! I know I am because im now expecting due in October! Cant wait! Its our first baby so we are very excited. I am about to send my FSP data of to the LEA next week for submission but have a quick query. wondered if anyone knows if the FSP will work on apple as well as PC as all the staff have now been given an apple laptop a few weeks ago and was thinking the teacher who is covering my maternity leave will prob need to use the apple for the FSP as the PC is my own personal laptop. I'm using the eye profile to write my reports this year - have faffed and changed my mind lots this year about the format I wanted to use, so I'm SUPER behind! Anyway, I wanted to put a general comment in for each child as well as their profile points and next steps. First I put it in the comments box after Creative development in the 'enter assessment' section, then when I viewed the finished reports, realised that this came up as part of Creative development. Then saw the 2 boxes on the final page for comments so copied and pasted it into there and deleted it from the creative comments section in the 'enter assessments' part of the program. BUT I can't get it to delete …
