   Hi can any body help? I am starting my dissertaion . The last task in my degree studies before I get a life back!!!! My chosen topic is issues around transition from preschool to reception class within the eyps. I have gained data from a questionaire to parents and interview with a head teacher. i now have to start writing my methodology section and would love to look at an example disseration to see the format required. but find all you get online is sites offering to do it for you at great expence. Has anybody any ideas? thanks in advance. Carol

   Hi All, I am busy with my DPP L3 and don't really know how to answer this question: Explain why it’s important to have policies and risk assessments for the health, safety and hygiene of the setting. My tutor says that I should answer each question with a section about babies, a section about toddlers and a section about preschool children.. but if I think of the IMPORTANCE of policies etc it is pretty much a blanket thing covering all ages as well as staff parents etc! Can anyone help? Thanks!

   I am in my third year and really need to get my head around this research project, I was keen on carrying out an action research project on narrowing the attainment gap for boys in the area of writing within CLL, however I have been told that this would not receive ethical approval, So I am thinking of a secondary research on the hypotheses ‘Why do girls outperform boys in the area of writing within CLL, by the end of the foundation stage’ as it is a library based project I need to compare data or research already carried out. Has anyone able to give advice or and tips on where to go ..... Many thanks.

   I haven't quite left it to the last minute but nearly! I'm trying to reference the Tickell review in my assignment and I've got a bit stuck. I'm basically accessing a pdf of the review and I can't for the life of me work out who published it and where. I could guess obviously but does anyone have a better idea?    Hi - I hope i have posted this in the correct area? Is there anybody who would be willing to share an example of a lesson observatio proforma that is linked more to teh EYFS than KS1 and 2. The one we have in school is very geared to the other key stages and I am aware that the sections/aspects it highlights as prompts to observe are not really relevant for an observation in the EYFS. I would be really grateful for any examples before i begin reinventing the wheel!! LOL Many thanks in anticipation
