Hi all I have had a visit from my childcentre manager who has recommended that I do more interim progression paperwork for cohorts and there by individual children. When I took over as manager there was nothing in place and no proforma or example to be seen it just wasn't done at all. We take children from the term of their third birthday till they go to school, what we did on the old system was baseline assessments as starting points which we then built on through LJ's and next steps. yesterday I stumbled across what looked like a really useful document with several pages. I printed the first 2, the internet crashed and the document disappeared. I've spent literally hours since then trying to retrace my steps but the trouble is I'm new so I've been in and out of so many discussions to get the feel of what's going on. I'm hoping someone will recognise the document and remember where it is. The title at the top of each page is 'Long Term Planning - Continuous Provision'. On the next line it says 'Long Term Key Learning Opportunities/ Key Early Learning Goals'. I've scanned a page and attached it as a pdf. PLEASE can someone help me? I'…

We currently split our children into focus week sover the term- during this week we will do a learning story on them(long observation) put enhancements into areas for things that interest them and include them in a focus activity Does this sound enough? or too much ? or? can you explain how you cover a child individual planning each week - (or however often) thanks
