Hello! Not been on for a while but hoping that someone can help me.... i am looking for a really nice but simple shopping plist template to put in my home corner to encourage mark making and i can't find one. Ideally i would like it with a picture border i'd make one myself but cant figure out how to do what i want to do with the border!) I'm sure there will be one on Sparklebox but we are not allowed to use it so if anyone has seen one or has one please could i have a copy? Thank you! Tink! x

Hello everyone! Only my second post so ... I was wondering if anyone has a great method for sharing digital photos. Currently, we print out for learning journeys and parents (not the same ones!) and also use slide shows on computer. I also e mail to parents now and then. A combination is always best but some are more time consuming and costly than others... I have so many fantastic photos - does anyone use / can anyone recommend a good site or e photo album where parents can log in and see their child's photos using passwords etc? I read about a nursery using Kodak? Does it cost much? Thanks for any replies.

Have just been looking at an online demo. of this. Does anyone use it in nursery/Pre-school? It looks like just what I am looking for but you can't see the price on the website. You subscribe for a year. Does anyone know how much it is? I suspect you buy a whole school package which would make it out of the reach of our little pre-school. Does Prams do the same think? And what is Progress Matters? And isn't there also a package from Early Education called 'Planning for Quality'? Ooooh! I don't know which way to turn....

Hi there, just wondering if anyone has any ideas!! I take my nursery class every week to the hall and use it sessions where we can do movement and space activities, ring games, circle games etc. I take my objectives from the development matters e.g. jump off and land safely, experiment with different ways of movement etc etc. Just wondering if anyone has used a fun P.E scheme of work or CD with music that I could use for movement and space/ dance just to help me with some inspiration that links to EYFS???? thanks

Hi, In our LEA nursery in Birmingham we use Birmingham's Progress Towards the Profile to monitor ongoing assessment and inform planning but we would like to switch to somethng that is more in line with the EYFS age bands. However, the last thing we want is to go back to the days of highlighting a zillion statements for each child! Is anyone aware of a computer based profile that is in line with EYFS? We haven't come across one yet. Thanks, Ruth

Im really confussed with Observations. All childminders out there - What observations do you do and how many per week / year etc? I have so far made a template for a time sample observation and a focussed observation. What else do i have to do? How often do i have to do each of these in a childminding setting????

I have been looking at the Herefordshire pilot materials on the progress matters CD and think they are great. However want to put child's name DOB etc on them-finding it difficult and wondered if anyone from Herefordshire out there can help? When I try to add to the charts there isn't enough space.
