Continuous Provison?!

Hi I wonder if anyone can help me? I think it might be called continuous provison but I am not sure!! The reception class teacher and I (nursery teacher) are going to get together to produce for each area, something to put up on the wall to show learning objectives/intentions/SS for each activity that we may have out in each area, rather than writing it down on our planning everytime. It would be handy to have something up in each area all the time to show continuos learning objectives. Hope this all makes sense? Does anyone have anything that they could share to help us get started? Thanks Ange x x

I am putting together a 4 week MTP for my DPP assignment. How much detail should I be putting into it? My tutor told us to list an activity for each area PSED, KUW etc for each week but I feel this is a bit restricting and I have been putting together another one which outlines learning intentions linked to stepping stones for each area for the 4 week period - I feel that this is a better way to cover the areas rather than trotting out the same adult led activity for a week. Does MTP have to be specific about activities? I thought that it was just a guide around which you include the individual needs and interests of the children and the weekly plan went into more detail…

Hi! I work in a DN specifically with the Maths and Literacy equipment. I need some exxciting and fun writing games to play with the children to encourage them to use the writing area. I am not allowed to do ANY messy activities in my room so things with paint etc are a definite no no, but to be honest, the children are bored with textured paper, chalk boards and stencils and it seems that this is all I can get out for them. I have made name cards in different ways for the children and various other things but the writing area is exclusively for mark making using pencils, crayons, pens, chalk. Hi what a brillant place this is. Im new to this so hope im doing it correctly. I know there is a thread all ready on PE in nursery, but I was just wondering if anyone else is doing the 'Leap in Life' with their nursery. Hi everyone Im just wondering if anyone can help i have just taken on my first post as supervisor of a sessional preschool since having my baby and have always been used to fulldaycare settings. We are in the process of setting up our routine i am curious to see how similar settings structure their day. We use continuous provsion do all settings just leave this out all morning we currently use self registration stories at the end of the day and are implementing a circle time.
