Just a quick question (for once!) What do you class as construction materials - just things that they use to make 3D models - junk/kits/natural bits etc or also collage materials used on a flat picture? Thanks Green Hippo x

Hi Thinking about our sometime soon Ofsted visit, I wondered if or how you track the progress of children on 2 yr old funding. Our children have a tracker to show termly 'which age band they are working within' but wondered what Ofsted may want to see over and above this to demonstrate how the funding is proving effective? Thanks in advance

Hi! Another DM statement question (or learning outcomes or whatever we are supposed to call them this week!) "Can select and use activities and resources with help" - I find that the majority of children are able to get what they want off the shelf and use - mostly completely independently at the beginning of the year (I'm in a Nursery in a school so children are all 3 when they first start). Hi, I would love some ideas on how to get parents involved with what we do at playschool. I have only been in charge since September. I have planned a parents morning to share info and have invited parents to come to a harvest service with us but I would appreciate some ideas on how to get them to contribute to what we plan for i.e. what are their children doing at home, what are they interested in at home etc? Does anybody do a learning journal? Thank you x <_<
