Good afternoon I am interested to know if anyone has designed any posters that link to the learning and teaching areas for their classrooms.eg book corner, construction, writing, modelling, painting etc. I have 2 old plans for the book corner and the construction area which I will happily share, once I have mastered how to upload! We are thinking of putting up some A3 posters that will help prompt and help observersations. Thank you

help! i need help in clarifying what exactly this statement means/entails * Counts objects to 10, and beginning to count beyond 10 it's obviously not the old count out 10 objects from a larger group (like the one below with 6 objects). is it just the ability to count up to 10 objects accurately, e.g. lining up to count or moving to count to keep track of ones counted? ideas please

Alliteration

Many children in my nursery seem to struggle with 'alliteration' - how do others teach this, but perhaps more to the point, how do you assess i.e. what are your expectations of this aspect of literacy. I'd be grateful to hear any comments!

Hi Guys, I am being observed by my peers this week on letters and sounds with regard to rhyme and wanted some advice please about an idea i have had, sometimes they can be a bit bonkers!!! The children seem to be able to suggest words (made up) that rhyme with their names. I wanted however to really try and show the children that although the initial sound withi…

It's just been one of those days today ! I have come home to print and laminate some new signs and thought I knew I had them saved on my computer. Alas they are nowhere to be find. I had several for different areas with lovely pictures and text. I especially loved the 'who is the illustrator' who is the author and others for the book corner, we also had a dressing up label and another one that said 'who are you going to be today? I thought they originally came from here but can't see anything in resources Does anyone happen to know what I am talking about? If anyone can help i will be eternally grateful, not really in a tizz, need them up tomorrow!!!!
