hello please can you help...a few months ago people were talking about photos in the learning journeys and they mentioned a small camea that also printed out the photos without using ink and I think the paper may have even be sticky backed??? Can anyone tell me what they are called as I can't remember. Thanks. Elle

Hi i have an interview next week as a teaching assistant in the reception class at a primary school i have a level 3 in child care and my placement was in the recption class while doing my course. I was wondering if anybody knows what type of questions they will ask me? and what type of questions i can ask them they have already told me that the first 20 mins when i arrive i have to do a child observation. please help! thanks.

Does anyone do long term CLL planning? I think it is a hard thing to get my head around if we use formative assessment for our planning - I cant think about what they should be learning for CLL in the summer term etc. Am I going about it all wrong? Help - confused from Essex!

The end of last week the children in my reception class, turned our train station role play corner into a vets. i got all the stuff out of the cupboard we have on animals and nipped to the local vets who where very generous. On Friday the play dedeveloped further with the children becoming the ill pets themselves. So friday completely changed the role play into a vets. Just wondereing if anyone has any good ideas of activies or how could develope this interest in vets/ pets? We have already talked about our pets and if anyone has had to take their pet to the vets! Hi I am new to the thread and would like some of your helpful advice please. Have got an interview where I need to carry out a 20 minute cross curriculur activity based on a creative stimulus such as an object, an image, a piece of music to a group of about 4 Reception children. Have considered using some large sparkly eggs to generate a speech and language activity with lots of talk, exploration, discussion about what the eggs could be, could have come from etc. But this desnt involve many other areas of learning and I would struggle to make it last for 20 minutes! Any ideas to extend this or any other suggestions? Thankyou!

Hi Ladies and Gents, I've got a few ideas but need inspiration. Being observed on Thursday for Hist/Geog and my mini topic this week is jungle animals. The focus for my observation is looking at the different range of resources and activities I do. It's Sunday and all the inspiration was used on Saturday nights planning. Any ideas.... x Oh forgot to mention I have a class of 19 reception children and 11 year ones.
