Hi I work in reception and am doing black history week next week. I would like some advice. Each class has been told to pick a historical figure and look at their life. W e have chosen Martin Luther King. Just wondering if anyone has covered this in early years before. Looking for inspiring activities. Thank you Sunai

I am enquiring of gaining a free trail of Tapestry to explore the system. I am the manager of childcare at Leeds City College and we would like to explore online journals with our Level 3 students who will qualifying in June 2015. It is essential that the know such systems and will be key in driving forward the use of online journals in their new workplace. I would like to trail the system before I purchase for students to explore. Would this be possible?

Hi all, I've been asked by the PSHE subject leader at my new school to produce an overview of topics for PSHE in the Early Years (Nursery and Reception). Obviously we teach / cover PSED all the time throughout everything we do as it is a Prime area of learning but I'm not sure what it is I am supposed to give her?! Any ideas anyone? Does anyone else have this at your school? Thanks!

Hi All I have been recently asked to look at early intervention programmes for F1 children in the area of speaking, listening and understanding. We use the ECAT material I was wondering if anybody else has anything they could share. In true SMT style my suggestions have to have measurable outcomes that can be used to show the intervention has narrowed the gap. Thanks

Hi, I'm in the process of writing Autumn Term Reports/Next steps. The majority of our children need to develop their fine motor skills but I'm struggling to write this as an 'I can...' next step. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
