Hi everyone, My children have had the cars, building blocks and rice in the tuff spot over the last couple of days they have been experimenting with banging the blocks onto the tuff spot to see how high the rice will 'jump'! Has anyone got any fabulous ideas how to develop this, I was thinking some sort of experiment altering the height of what is droppped?! Any better ideas from you lovely people?! Qx

I have provision area planning, ad occassionally have a specific task I want children to do in the areas, but usually leave it as child initiated. Hi, The whole school is starting a focussed project on Learning styles, different ways in which we learn and about how we can improve learning. It came as a result of a handout on a Creative projects day so is being led by the SMT. My challenge is how to explain to my Reception Class how they learn and what helps them to learn. The starting point is what helps me to learn best and had thought of whole class discussion and then 4 different types of learning activity which children would rotate round and record at each activity and then discuss which they preferred.
