Hi everyone, I hope you have been able to enjoy a nice summer holiday. I was searching for some documents in my PC and I found this one, but it is only for the Autumn Term. Does anyone have the Spring and Summer Terms? Thanks in advance for your kind help. Best regards

Hi all I am starting at a new school this year in Reception and Im trying to get my head round a new way of planning, new systems etc. Apparently this school set out their topics in advance at the start of the year, e.g in first half term we do 'ourselves', second half term we do 'food' etc etc. right across the year. Hi everyone, I would really like to hear from people who have started to use the new Abacus framework for Reception. The school bought it for me to plan numeracy in line with the rest of the school. The problem I have is that on the planning sheets it also displays Literacy planning, which I do not need. Does anybody know if you can access just the numeracy planning alone? Thanks Lindsey

I have been reading lots of different discussions and posts on here and am finding that i am getting myself in a real tizz!!! HELP!!!! I am so confused about how we need to plan now - previously we had detailed MTP linked to a topic/theme - through weekly meetings - we discussed ideas & activities we felt would motivate & interest the children and put these into STP. I would be really grateful if people could share how they are now organising their planning in line with teh EYFS. Will you still have LTP?MTP? Wha…

Hi Second post, I'm really getting into the swing of this! Does anyone use a skills based long term plan? I recently saw another school's planning and instead of a topic overview they have decided to list the skills that they are going to cover in every half term for all the 6 areas. So that in the first term they are going to cover one handed tools and painting. Regardless of the topic this will still be covered, one year the topic could be holidays, the next ourselves but withing this topic they will still cover the painting and one handed tools. How do other people go about long term plans? At the moment I have continuous provision sheets and a topic overview wh…
