Hi everyone After a year teaching outside the Foundation Stage i'm pleased to say i'm returning to it with a Reception class. Yay! To plan activities based around the foolowing learning bays: Imaginative play; building and construction; gymnasium; small apparatus; horticultural; environmental and scientific; art; quiet, and made sure the six areas were covered within these. Hi, in September I am going to be running a FS unit, and I am confused as to how I should plan. I need to differentiate between F1 and F2, and also produce a timetable - but its so complicated. I was thinking of making a vague sort of timetable and seeing how things develop. My theme is Goldilocks and the 3 bears. Anyone got any good FS unit planning? Thanks a million!!!

Water Continuous Planning

Does anyone know where I could find example water continuous provision planning. I've had a mad time of it of late - enjoying establishing a reception layout in my half of a big room!! In my madness, I'm more or less set with everything ready - am just missing water planning to put up - the adult involvement and the independent learning - I know I've seen it somewhere on here but for the life in me I can't find it! Think I'm going do-lally!!! Thanks xx

I know this is one of those topics that is discussed all the time (!), but I need some clarity from you wise ones! Am rethinking our planning for next year. I know everyone is different, I also know it is personal. But I also need you to tell me if I'm overkilling it or just covering it!! FS co has for a long time planned for Lit, Num and then a Creative and a Knowledge and Understanding activity seperately i.e. like subjects higher on up the school - as seperate entities. I want to take ownership of my own planning style next year, but also don't want to get two weeks into it and think I've gone mad! Head is very okay with us doing what we think is neces…
