But if anyone had a tried and tested version then that would be great! A simplified Christmas Story Once upon a time there lived Mary and Joseph who were going to have a special baby called Jesus. Early one morning they woke and went outside where they saw some soldiers. The soldiers said “You must go to Bethlehem”. So Mary, Joseph and their donkey went. They walked and they walked and they walked and they walked until they got to Bet…

Hello, i'm following a 2 year rolling plan because all of our classes are mixed year groups and the topic for the first term is Light and Dark. For some reason my mind does not want to help me! I've thought about night and day - differences, sorting typical objects, a pyjama day. As it is the first term there will be an awful lot of Child Initiated activities as the children are settling in and familiarising themselves with school but would like to have some more ideas up my slee…

Does anyone know the Ofsted view on supervisong children outside. We have 2 classes with a total of 40 children 14 are allowed out at a time. The whole of the outdoor area is in view from all of the windows in the classroom. Do you think we need an adult outside at all times? I would be grateful of your opinions Many thanks Lola
