Do I Give Up Hope?

I went for an interview for EYFS Coordinator today at 11.00am. I was the last to be interviewed. I rang at 4pm as I still hadn't heard anything and was told the Head had been on a course all afternoon and was now in a staff meeting. I asked could I be rung at home as I was now going home. It's now 7pm and still not heard. Do I give this one up as good experience? Do you think it's rude that they haven't rung me?

Hi Wondering if anyone has a copy of an information sheet for parents to fill out about their child before they start school in September. We are not having indvidual meetings but I feel it would be nice for parents to fill out details of children particular interests, likes and dislikes. Thanx

Hi, I am a newly appointed KS1 and EYFS manager, one of my briefs to get ready for September is to take the very successful Foundation Stage ethos that i have created and show them how to do it in Y1 (and possibly Y2). It is rather a big subject and I don't know where to start; curriculum, resources, look at play based learning first????? Has anyone done this or works in a Y1 or Y2 which has a play based curriculum? Help, the time scale isn't long! What are the priorities to work on first?

I am now starting to doubt what I do???!!!!! The person then went on to tell me that I was young and not very experienced!!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated am…

Hello I have an interview for a FS 1 full-time position on Thursday. I have been told to : 'Prepare a maths - problem solving activity that involves active engagement by the children'. I have also got to take 'Evidence of planning and sample outcomes'. In my panic, my mind has gone blank!! Regarding the planning - I will obviously take a lesson plan - but do you think they are asking me to take copies of my current PSRN (or any subject) plans? Feel exhausted already! I'm not planning to use a IWB - as I've got out of habit of using one (I moved to FS in Sept and we don't have one in our room). The letter says they are looking for a candidate who…
