I'm sorry to ask such an obvious question but does the letters and sounds document require us to teach the sound and the letter name at the same time?

Hi everyone Just wondering if anyone can help me. I'm about to finish my first year back in Reception and yes I have loved it but I would like to make a few changes for next year. With the summer holiday spread out in front of me I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of OFSTED's criteria for 'outstanding'. Not there yet but no harm in taking a look!! Thank you

Hello, I'm thinking about buying the Mindstretchers talking and thinking (thinking and talking?) floorbook to help involve the children in the planning in my reception class next year. just wondered if anyone uses them? Are they particularly helpful and would you recommend them? And could anyone give me a little summary of how they work? Thank you!

Hi sorry not done this lots! I've put a reply on the back of someone elses topic but not sure if thats right so started this one. I'm probably wrong actually but oh well - sorry for repeating myself! just asking anyone who uses this tasc wheel - do children suggest what they want to learn about e.g. the topic itself or do you tell them the topic and then continue with the wheel. hope makes sense. just drinking some wine and my heads a bit fuzzy!
