Hi All A simple query I hope. :( I am looking to use the new Primary Framework for Mathematics from September onwards.... I am aware that it is broken down in to 7 strands and then into blocks to teach throughout the year..... My question is are there blocks of work for the foundation stage.... I have looked at the standards site and can find an access the blocks of work for years 1-6..... but only activity ideas for the foundation stage...... What am I missing.... or do we carry on as before covering the Stepping stones and ELGS? Hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks Lorna

Hi Does anyone use a song or game to help children learn the month of their birth (does that make any sense?) On the first day back, we will make a birthday board and I want the children to help put their photo and date on the correct month, as we sing a song!? Can anyone help? Louise.

Hi I am looking for a number rhyme that will allow me to change the number words from English into different languages. I ideally want numbers 1-10 but 1-5 would be fine. I vaguely remember a dance course I want on and one of the songs was about singing numbers in different languages. Hope you can help?

Some of the staff (eg. my nursery nurse and support staff who have delivered ELS and ALS) are used to delivering phonics activities/sessions, but for others it will be completely new. We haven't yet worked out who will covered which Phases, but the idea is that the children will be slotted into which ever phase they are working at, across the whole FS/KS1 - we're not sure quite how this will work, but that is the theory. Has anyone delivered training to…

On Wednesday in school each of the classes are moving up to their new teacher. I teach in the Reception class and was wondering if anyone had any lovely ideas to do with a new class when meeting for the first time. I was also hoping some of you could give me an idea of your class rules and how many do you think is the right number to have. Thanks

Hi I'm looking at getting some trays which i can put the children's names on and use them for the children to put their work in. We are a pre-school and everything has to go away every day. I wondered about letter trays, but cheapest i have found are £3.99 each, i will need 24. I wondered what everybody else uses and where they get this sort of thing from.
