This is probably a stupid question, but we want to paint pasta which children can then use for threading, was thinking of getting kids to tip pasta into paint pots, but am not sure what is the best way to dry it before they start - won't it stick to everything? any ideas welcomed as always thanks

Hi there, I am desperately completely revamping a very tired looking fs area and just about everything possible that can be done - planning/ assessment etc. etc. The nursery currently have a collection of parent bags that they can come and borrow with fun activities to do at home with their child. i would love to carry on this good practise in school so if anyone has any good ideas for these which i could do at a relatively cheap price i would be very grateful! Hi all Just wondering if any of you had any photo's or ideas to share on exciting water play. We extend our water play as much as possible, and outside use guttering and crates amongst other things to make it a bit more exciting, inside water play is a little more restricted as we just have 1 water tray, we have lots of different things going on, but lately I've been getting a bit bored with it, and need a bit of an injection of new ideas. Photos would be fantastic if anyone has any. I'm in the middle of a report writing nightmare, but later on will try and transfer my water pictures and upload them on to here looking forward to getting some good ideas …

Last Friday I went to look around a school and absolutly fell in love with the place! The head had me sold the second she explained how she wants to develop a forest school and that a brand new classoom is about to be built. Thing is I really don't want to fall at the first Hurdle but she has asked 'Please tell us about yourself, your strengths and interests, amd why you were attracted yo our school' and well I don't know how formal / formal she wants me to be and how to say strengths but without sounding too - well you know! Any advice would be appreciated as I have spent the last 5 years dreaming of a job like this Thanks so much
