I'm thinking about my planning for the first week and am sure that I've seen a game here that we can play with children to help them to become familiar with where things live, the different areas of the classroom etc., but can't find it through searching. hello again, Am not having much luck this morning.... Does anyone know where you can buy large paper letters, already cut out? Have been searching on the internet but can't seem to find any, although I know they exist! Thought buying would be kinder than asking my LSA to cut out letters to make each child's name.... Hi! I was just wondering how other people plan for mathematical development as i am revising our current planning this year. Does anybody use the Abacus scheme? On the old forum at Under 5's there was a chat about singing sacks and singing cubes, which i can only vaguely remember. Can anyone give me more ideas for things to put in the sacks for each rhyme- because i can't remember i.e. red bus foir wheels on bus, teapot for i'm a little teapot etc. Cheers
