Numreacy Help!

I have just begun a maternity cover and have to provide differentiated numeracy homework for FS2 children each week . Does anyone know where I can get child friendly homework worksheets, (if this is not a contradiction in terms!). I've looked at the Impact series, but much of their stuff involves dice and/or playing cards, which I doubt the children will have at home.

Hi all Just a quick message to ask you all what part of the foundation stage/area you leave the person covering your PPA time with ? My classroom support covers my PPA time and she has been working on the Jolly phonics sounds. However, we are at the end of this now so was wondering what others do ?? thanks

I am moving from reception to year 2 in September. The head wants me to make the curriculum more fun/learning through play based. I have been offered £1500 and an artist to develop the learning environment. Just wondered if anyone has any great ideas. I have a blank canvas at the moment so any ideas would be much appreciated. I am going to spend some of the money on new tables (a horeshoe one etc) but I would like to develop a multifunction area that can incorporate role play. The book corner also needs to be developed. The year 1 and year 3 classroom have already been developed. Year 3 have a large tent area a bit like a circus tent! Have just found out that the a…

Friendship!

Hi everybody I deperately need some inspiration. My friend has an interview next week where she has to teach a yr1 class, the topic being friendship. Our school strongly promts play in yr1, so it would have to be something with a play aspect to it. She has strong competition so it also has to have that wow factor to it. I really want her to get the job as she has worked really hard with a really tough yr1 class this year ( and she could have just walked away as she was only on supply). Also if she gets it we will be working together (The dream team), as i'm moving from F2 to y1. Hope you have a few ideas for us (her) Cheers chickens!!!
