Can any one offer any advice?!! Apart from ELG's/Curriculum guidance and LEA curriculum we do not have a progressive writing scheme in place. As writing is an issue within our school I want to create such a scheme to fit our children's needs. Has anyone got any good starting points/ documents/ web sites/ schemes etc. I can draw from? Would be grateful for any ideas.

What do you think a reasonable amount of photocopying is say for a week? I'm reluctant to let my Reception children colour in sheets of Jolly phonics .I have laminated a simple Nelson handwriting sheet with 3 letters on each side so the children practise their handwriting and then rub it off. Hi just looking at my phonics provision at present and need lots of exciting phonic resources for a class of easily bored children. Their abilities range from few sounds to most and beginning to blend. Wondered if anyone has got any wonderful resources for me to use for the children. I know i have the progression in phonics stuff...but takes ages to download (if i can find the disc) and not very colourful and exciting. Need big letter cards with good logos on. Fans, pictures, ideas please! Got an inspector in on friday....and need the help.

Targets In Reception

Ive just come back from a staff meeting on target. At the moment we have literacy and numeracy folders that we put in a piece of work each half term and highlight the targets the children have achieved. It has now been decided that we must put targets in the front of lit and num books aswell and highlight the target the children are working on. (SO supply know where the children r up to).We dont even have numeracy books! I dont think we need these extra targets but Ive got to put them in before friday so can anyone help me out and email me targets they have already done please?
