Outdoor Area

Hi all! I was just wondering what people could suggest as absolute 'must haves' in their outdoor area. At the moment we dont have set workshop areas set up outside-should there be? I am unsure whether we should have 6 clear areas outside with different enhancements to those on offer inside or should we be aiming to offer experiences that are more suited for outdoors such as using trikes or creating a class garden? Our outdoor area is in desperate need of updating and as you can tell I am very puzzled about what a good outdoor area should be like-any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Imaginary Food Play

I have been based in Recpetion for seven of my 9 years of teaching. The job has been advertised externally and although I have been set targets this year to enable me to do this role I have been told that I may not even be shortlisted. If I am then I am having to teach a session in Y6 - is this the norm? I have been told it is so that I am a level playing field - yet the other applicants are all KS2 based. Does anyone know the type of questions I may be asked at interview. …

I have a group of boys that love to play outdoors, however last week they were spotted painting puffles! I want to continue with this theme to inspire thes boys with writing. I have had some ideas such as making player cards and making/designing their own puffles. Has anyone any further ideas?
