Help our admin have joined the forum and I can log onto the Tapestry app but how do I begin the admin to download my class list - am going around in circles, can anyone please help. Am sure it is something simple that I am missing but what is it?

We have a child with speech issues (pronunciation) I can understand her and I feel that she has fulfilled the ELG general statements But .... " children express themselves effectively..." does this imply children with speech issues cannot be awarded this point? Would welcome some advice please. Thanks Gretna

How do you score a child in your EYFSP submissions when you have recorded them as ELG +? Is it like this: No score = A ELG - emerging = 1 ELG - expected = 2 ELG - exceeding = 3 ELG+ = 4

Just wondering about link between profile levels at end of reception and National curriculum levels at end of Y2. If the children achieve expected in reception class then will it be expected that they will achieve a level 2B in Y2? Thinking of reading, writing, maths. Welcome any words of wisdom on this please! thanks

I had a job interview

I had a job interview followed by lesson observation in Reception last Friday. The headteacher phoned me in the evening the same day. He said that they hadn't made their decision yet as they needed to wait for references. It's half term break so I need to wait another week. Does it mean I have a chance to get this job? I wasn't told 'We will offer you the job pending references'. I am a bit confused.

Hi all, I don't really post often but I wanted to share that today we were moderated and all of our judgements were agreed as accurate. We are really pleased with this as we have worked so hard on understanding the ELG's, the CoEL and the links between the areas etc... I was hoping it was going to be a positive experience as this is the first time reception have been moderated while I've been in this role. Happy!!! Lx

So, no profiles for FS2 from September 2016, instead baselines at the start of reception from where progress through the rest of the primary curriculum will be measured. What is the general feeling about this? will we see a push to formalize reception?
