I have been teaching in foundation for a few months now and realised that I need to carry vast amounts of resources on my person at all times as you never know when you might need it, e.g. camera, speed sound cards, stickers, number fans, chalk, pens, pencils, scissors, sticky labels and post it notes just to name a few. I was just wandering does everyone stick these items in their pockets or do you use something else to carry it around? What works best for you?

Hi I run a school based Early Years Unit with 15 Reception children and 28 nursery children. Reception are in all day, nursery mornings only. There are 2 teachers and 3TAs. I was wondering what other schools do regarding keyworker systems, particularly with regards to the changes in EYFS. Also how much responsibilitiy do you give to the TAs? Does anyone have a policy for a school setting on keyworkers? Many thanks MH

Hi all, Haven't been on the forum for a long while. I do apologise. Well our FSU is now expanding! Now have 78 Nursery children, 39 each session and 60 Reception.... .....It's nice and calm at the moment as Nursery don't start until Monday Taken on another TA so we've got 4 full time support staff and three teachers. I think we are larger than a number of village primary schools! Wish us luck.

Hello everyone This is my first post since becoming a member a couple of months ago and I think the forum is a fantastic support. I'm really intrigued by the many and varied planning formats and approaches to planning that practitioners have. I've also noticed that we sometimes the titles we give planning documents/processes vary and that one label I give something might mean something different to someone else. For example to me continuous provision is everything that might possibly affect children's learning both indoors and out. I have the 'provision' posters up on the wall - it's a long term thing. A friend of mine thinks of continuous provision as her daily …

Hi everyone, I manage a 3 form entry foundation stage (3 reception classes and 2 nursery classes) and am looking for some advice on how you organise staffing and how you work timetables. Would be interesting to see some timetables if anyone has any to share, as we have only just become 3 form entry. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks
