Just to let you know .... In my post yesterday at Nursery I recieved an invoice from 'businessbritannia' for advertsing on their online directory. The invoice was for £230.52 I have not booked this advertising and have never had any contact with the company. I looked their website up and ...there was my nursery advert lifted completely from my Yellow Pages advert. Smelling a rat I googled the company (googling 'business britannia proforma invoice' and found that medical practices in Kent had also been targeted by this company - and it's a scam. Hi all, Advice needed please. Our current topic is story land and we have visited goldilocks and the three bears. As part of this story I provided the children with clipboards so that they could survey the rest of the children if they liked the porridge we tasted in class at their leisure (which was very popular). One child has really taken this on and has been walking round with a clipboard permanently attatched to his arm for two weeks! Hi, We went to purchase a wooden wendy house of a site recently and they cam back and asked us to sign a disclaimer as it was for personal use not commercial. We are a voluntary preschool where every penny counts and it infurates me that we have to buy a piece of equipment that is for commercial use even though they look and seem to be exactly the same as what Argos would sell. What do other settings do - and if there are legal requirements where are they written down as I cant find them anywhere. Any help on this would be much appreciated. ie. surely a Little tikes plastic slide is the same whether from Argos or Hope??

We are selling some equipment that we purchased a few years ago, it has some wear and tear but still amazing. Hi This may seem a silly thing to ask but I have read the form over and over and cant make my mind up! The nursery is part of a large organisation I have managed it for 16years , last Ofsted was Outstanding. Head office have said for me to fill in an EY2 form. I know its for the manager in charge of the day to day running of setting, but do I really need to be looked into as suitable after all this time? Or is everyone having to do this Thanks for any of your views

Hi all, I'm currently studying for my foundation degree and I have been observing my practice in supporting children's learning in the outdoor area. Well, my observation of one little boy was just amazing! He has been hooked on dinosaurs for ages now, and we have just bought some great 'giant' ones, which we (the boy and I!) decided to take outside and make a habitat.....
