Hi, Im just wondering whether anyone has sourced any post padding from safety-pads.co.uk. We have 2 square edged metal posts right in the middle of our outdoor area, and have already had 3 banged heads! So need to source some padding. If you have sources from anywhere else, or have any tips for a cheap but effective solution please let me know! Thank you lucie x

Hello anyone -doing random jobs through hols and have remembered years ago that someone attached some gorgeous teddy bear labels to a messgae they posted. Have searched but can't find them - does anyone have any idea where they might be. Have used them in the past as coat peg labels as they have lots of lovely photos of old fashioned bears on them and the children liked them. Please help!!

I am not sure if this is the right thing to ask as I might be 'opening a can of worms' but here goes anyway. I just wondered how everyone was doing with September looming, are you all ready, happy and confident with your preparations for the EYFS? I think we are ready(slight hesitaion there) or as ready as we can be until are working within it and maybe tweeking anything we need to. Just working our way through our continuous provision (with the forums help!) to make sure we have covered all areas etc. I will be interested to hear how everyone else is feeling. This is in case I need a helmet for protection!!

right, if anyone can help, it's you lot! We have Dimplex wall heaters at our setting,(not very satifactory, too expensive to run, fall off the stud partition walls etc...........but that's another issue!) Currently, we have HUGE guards around them, much too big for what the heaters actually are, and i'd like to source smaller ones, which actually screw to the wall and therefore take up less space.I have found some, sold by Norfolk Industries, but they are quite expensive, so i wondered if anyone on here knows where i can find cheaper models??

Hi all, I am a new member to fsf and I am so pleased with the information I have already down loaded from everone. I am opening up a new nursery in September within a school for children aged 2-5 years. I have never been a nursery manager before, so I am finding it all a bit scary. Does anyone have a parent information pack that I could download with the new adjustments for early years starting in Sept. I would be most grateful. M

Sorry folks but having asked only yesterday for some help on finding something here I am again!! Somewhere over the last few days I found some signs/information for different areas of a setting. There is a label saying 'sand tray 4 children allowed' and a picture of 4 smiley faces and two accompanying A4 sheets one says'What can we learn by using the sand tray independently' and has boxes for the 6 areas of learning, The other sheet says 'What can adults do to promote learning in the sand tray' and again has boxes for the 6 areas of learning. All the above was also shown but in relation to the Book corner, I cannot for the life of me remember where they ar…
