Baby Bottle Preparation Help!

Im hoping someone can give me some advice or point me in the direction of some information. I am currently reviewing the policies inline with EYFS and decided we need a 'Bottle Feeding/preparation policy' My manager and myself were discussing the bottle prep procedures. What is advised??? To make up bottles fresh or get parents to make them and warm them when needed. There are pros and cons to both, risk of staff not concentrating and not preparing bottles correctly therefore parents should do it, but bacteria wise its best to make them up fresh. Hi We have a rapidly increasing amount of boys coming to preschool. They r taking over and squeezing all the girls out! was there something put in the water 3 years ago that has resulted in a boy explosion? In Sept we r looking forward to 15 boys and 4 girls on an average day and are slightly concerned as to what to do with them all. we have a limited outdoor space and no shelter out there. any ideas on what to do, strategies on coping, ideas, topics, anything just so i can look forward to september instead of reaching for my headache tablets before we even started???

can someone help me. we have been offered to move onsite to a primary school. we have been accepted to use their old building inwhich is no longer used by the school. The school has said we will be the main provider of that building (ya right), but they have said that they would like to use it for a breakfast club and afterschool club,(another provider) don't get me wrong i agree it would be good for the school to supply before and afterschool care, but my main concern is we dont really want to share the building, especially when we are spending alot of money to revamp it, why cant they use the school. Hi Can anyone help I am trying to source scrapbooks for September, I need at least 40 so they have to be cheap!! All I can find are either kits or ones with butterflys etc, I just want plain A4 scrapbooks!! Any ideas or website i could try please as i have tried all the usual like Woolworths etc. Thanks Kris

Hi, Just wondered if anyone can help? I am completing risk assessments for the Nursery I work for. I have completed a really helpfull course recently, got a good risk assessment sheet to complete. Have spent this weekend typing up several sheets, manual handling, slips, trips and falls etc. Now hit a blank..... Should i be completing risk assessments for everything.... such as food, activities, medication etc.? The setting has no previous forms for me to view to help...
