Funded Sessions

Hope someone can throw some words of wisdon my way with this query! first.......a question.....how much do you charge per hour at your settings? second......another question....can you/or do you charge parents a top up if there child is funded? As the government funding doesn't come to the same amount if they paid for it can you charge parents the extra. I don't do this at the moment because I wasn't aware you could but I have been told recently that you can!!!??? Is this true?

Over the years we've used NES Arnold, Galt, Hope, Philip & Tacey. One by one these companies have been swallowed up by Findel Education. We now get the most appalling service from all of them. They don't acknowledge orders, they deliver to the wrong place, they take weeks to deliver; it's all incredibly unsatisfactory. Can anyone recommend a supplier that has a good range and actually cares about its customers?

Everyone here always seems to rave about them - but what sizes would you suggest. I love the big ones and the half size set with a trolley. Recommendations please as I've never used them I'm confused. Thanks

I'm on playgroups committee and last night some members were asking why the accountant needs ID. Is it usual for the Accountant to request 2 forms of ID from each committee member before he'll do the books? We've usuually had someone do it as a favour but we're going to a different firm now. Also, as to data protection, waht rules are there on childrens information leaving the setting? i'm thinking of the placement secretary who has names and dob's on her home pc. I've searched here but the links given wont work for me.

Is anyone involved in ecoschools for pre-school and nursery children? I have registered my settings but not sure how to start. I have had a good look at the information within the website. But feel left out on a limb at the moment as no courses running for further support. Having looked at the information I think we are close to a Bronze award, but have no commitee at the moment. Help
