At the moment i have my NVQ3 in early years and wondered if anyone could shed some light on courses. I have looked into OU Early Years practitioners certificate but have missed the date this year. Also had some info on Foundation degree but i would need to have a day off to do this!! I have thought of the NVQ 4 but it means travelling miles to do it. Please help . A confused Skippy

This is my first time posting a message. This is and excellent source of information and advice, which is exactly what I need right now. Can anyone give advice regarding a member of staffs behaviour at the pre-school I work at. Since becoming employed in September last year within a month she breached confidentiality, resulting with an extremely upset parent. She uses bullying tactics to get her own way. I recieved a letter this week through my door which made me feel physically sick and bewildered I joined up to the APEL course last year. I was told that in order to be able to continue with the job I have been doing for the last 16 years I should update my DPP qualification. Well I was asked to keep you all posted on how the NNI Nursery was coming along and how I am getting planning together as part of my job description is to organise and oversee the planning curriculum for the whole nursery. The children will be from 6 weeks to 5 years!!
