I have been setting up a website using Weebly. I am so proud of myself and have been doing really well. I am nearly done and am just tweaking things now. But I cannot for the life of me work out how to add links. I want to add a link to our Ofsted report and a link to our forest school providers website. Can anyone help me please??? I seem to be banging my head against a brick wall!!

So, here it is, the last day of term!! My staff and I are worn out. Worn down too with the constant jabs at early years and our workload getting bigger and bigger! So if you are about to embark on two weeks off....... ENJOY! I am definitely going to get some down time but I do have a whole pile of work to do over the next two weeks to keep us all up to date! Happy Easter folks if you're lucky enough to have time off x

Hi All I am asking for advice for my sister really. She has 3 children. 2 boys aged 7 & 3 and a little girl aged 4. Youngest little boy also attends my pre-school setting for 18hrs per week. My sister is having real problems with both the boys behaviour. They have tantrums frequently and will throw anything in their way, kick, scream, spit and swear. Usually the trigger for this is being told "no" or asking them to do something they don't want to like eat dinner, get dressed etc. We are also having problems with the youngest at pre-school. He will randomly start screaming hysterically, sometimes holding his breath saying ".... hurt me" and saying any child's name…

I have a relatively new member of staff who hasn't a lot of experience working in a setting and she is intent on making children say sorry if they do something to another child. I have been working with her on praising children and being positive with them, but she isn't taking it on board and I feel she is bringing her own parenting skills into the setting. I have never been a huge fan of making children say sorry, rather I remind them for example that if they hit someone - what they did made the other child sad as they are crying, or I explain that if they have taken a toy from another child they need to share and take turns etc. and I also remind them periodically …

Hi, We are doing a topic involving wild animals and would like to include some makaton in this; however, we don't seem to have any of the signs or symbols for this...wondering if anyone can help?? We have a few makaton trained staff that would be able to carry out the signs if we had them to look at, have been searching the internet but haven't had much joy. I know there are books for this available but funding doesn't always run to this. Thanks guys.

We hire a village hall which has no telephone line at all. We have a real problem with mobile phone coverage between us we cover 4 of the main mobile providers but none of them have a good signal. It really worries me, that no one can get in touch or more importantly we can't get in touch with parents should we need them. The village hall committee have said no to installing a telephone line as the hall is used by many other users and obviously they don't want to 'foot the bill' - I understand their reasons. Does anyone know if we could get a telephone line installed when it's not our builiding? and also (depnding on cost) if we can get one installed can we just plu…

I have a three year old child attending my setting who has started using foul language. This is child with quite severe delay, especially in language and social skills. He is just starting to put 2 or 3 words together and is having speech therapy. He also hits and throws things, which he has been doing for some time, but he has started spitting and biting as well as swearing recently. This behaviour is generally aimed at his mother when she comes to pick him up, although he has bitten a child and member of staff this week and spat quite a few times. He also displays all these behaviours at home regularly. There are a number of issues at home and our relationship with the …
