Hi, we have just been given two android tablets for our nursery setting. Looking for recommendations for apps for the children (age range 2-4) to use on these tablets. Many thanks!

When we go to the school hall for our PE session we currently have a wooden climbing frame and slide, balance beam and stepping stones. We have fundraised for some new equipment and I would like to provide some more challenging equipment. Any ideas of where to buy and what to buy? (I will not use TTS). Any ideas gratefully considered. ?

Help! What is everyone’s understanding of continuity of care? I believed that if I have 3 children everyday but one of those was changed to another day, either permanently or as a one off, we could accommodate the child even though we would have 4 children not 3. Any help and guidance would be appreciated. Just had my Ofsted Inspection and feeling rather delicate at the minute so please be kind to me! ?

So each year organisations in the village are invited to decorate a very small tree to go in the church. This year’s theme is peace on earth. All I can think of getting our children to do is glittered doves to hang on the tree. I did look at all the symbols of peace from around the world and wonder about doing something with them, but that really is way above our age group. Does anyone have any fabulous ideas for me? Thank you in advance?

Has anyone used a parent satisfaction survey to determine how far parents feel they are helped by the setting to support their children in achieving developmental milestones, physical development and emotional resilience? I've been asked to develop one and I'm interested to know the sorts of questions others have asked or found useful.

SORRY in advance for mentioning the C word! Just wondering if any of you do an alternative Christmas play/nativity? We always do a various form of the traditional nativity but would love to do something a bit different that perhaps weaves in characters that the children actually like to dress up as (Frozen, super hero’s etc). I like to have a play that rhymes as I personally find it easier to narrate that way.(Its my worst nightmare every year narrating the nativity) but I am not very imaginative in my writing, just wondering if anyone has anything like this that they would be happy to share? The other thing is, we only have half the usual amount of children this year …

We really need to learn some new games to play. Ones we play already are: Duck, duck goose, princess long ago, bug in a rug, farmer in the den, ring a roses, Hokey Cokey. Does anyone have any more that we can add to our list? Also any ideas for PE sessions, again we seem to do the same things all the time. Look forward to hearing your ideas?
