Anyone had a look at this on the CWDC website for next year? It gives a list of qualifications and whether or not you can deliver it without furthar training. I am sure someone will put a link to it. Please? I would if I knew how.

Hi Everyone I need a little advice..... i have just returned home from a paper work evening where we discussed wrting the progress summaries for the children to send home to the parents at the end of each term. we have sort of got our learning journeys up-to-date......most of the staff have had to take them home to do. we now have most of the staff complaining about the time they need to put in outside of their working hours to complete the learning journeys and there are even more complaining now that we have been asked to write progress summaries!!! we are currently being paid and extra hour each half term to complete the learning journeys etc h…

Hi everyone I have just found this forum and I am finding it very interesting reading some of the posts and feel I will be getting some great ideas for our club. I have been running an After School and Holiday Club based within a primary school for the last 18 months. We have progressed from a satisfactory setting to a good setting within this time. Our last inspection was in October last year and the only recommendation was to introduce adequate planning and observation for EYFS. Hello We had parents evening today at the nursery, mum wanted to know why we are not tracking or using checklist against the new EYFS, told her we were told not to use checklist, and explained the new EYFS to her, not convinced still would prefer report and tracker/checklists. Hello, haven't used this site much before. I am looking for an EYFS policy to look at as I need to write a new one for my school. I was NQT last year so haven't any experience writing policies. Have tried to search on here but can't find anything. Could anyone point me in the right direction? Or is anyone willing to share one that I can get some ideas from? Just when you'd got used to finding everything on the EYFS website they have scrapped it! Everything is now here in a new format! http://nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.g...earlyyears/eyfs Although it is still available on the old website for a limited period! Lucy
