I have not been on here for a while but , I thought as I need some good advice I would return! We have returned back yesterday and We were all ready to implement the new planning. BUT !! today we are feeling very low and now confused as to how the hell we can fit in 60 children ! . We carry out 1 focus activity each session and this and all other general observations are used at the end of the week to plan for the following(in theory) but we are now beginning to panick that we arn,t going to be able to cover every child as we have also set each child a target under each heading per term (for their profiles and showing next steps- as Liked by our recent ofsted ins…

Dear All, Can anyone tell me if it is in black and white anywhere about the qualifications TAs should have when working in the Foundation Stage? The reason that I am asking is because I believe that my Headteacher is replacing my full-time TA (experience of 7 years) with a student TA of L2. I am unhappy about this and am looking for some evidence to back up my argument, but I'm not sure if/where I ahve seen this. Thanks

Hi All. This may be a rather dim question, but I've only just discovered continuous learning plans. I get the idea, just can't work out what to put in them & what areas I'll need them for. I've seen loads of great examples & everyone seems to know just what to write.....How? Is there a good resource I should use? & is there a list of areas I'll need them for? I thought I was sorted for the EYFS & now I just feel back to square 1 & very confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. Flo

Hi. My attention has been drawn to Pages 38 & 39 of the EYFS Standards booklet and I can see that I will need to adapt my Registration Form a bit. I have some questions - is your Registration Form one one side of A4? Do you include a section about ethnicity? I'm not quite sure how to word the bitabout 'which of these parents or carers the child normally lives with'. My Registration form is already very full and before I start fiddling with it your comments would be much appreciated!

I recently saw some detailed planning on here and althoguh I saved it I cant find it on my laptop. It was quite detailed , run over several pages and had a sheet showing outside play. Can any one help me. smiles
