Sooooooo - as we all know there is less paperwork to do now  I now have to undertake 'Communication Screening Assessments' - I know from a previous comment on another thread that some of you have been doing this for sometime....... Do you carry these out for 'all' children or just just those that you may have some 'concerns' about?

Hi all, quick question...... I am wondering how many key children do each of your staff have? We are a Pre School, ages range from 2- rising 5's. Some of our staff have 13 key children each, and are finding it quite hard juggling that many children each week. Any feedback greatly received x

Hi we currently have a big huge war and peace style risk assessment for the setting and then we have a 'tick chart' style daily risk assessment that we tick each day at the beginning of the session. Hi all I wondered if anyone has a code of conduct they would be willing to share? I have a situation where I need one quite urgently, we don't have one but this is no longer an option! living and working in the same area it seems that I need to add that however unfair it may seem personal conduct outside of the setting still reflects on the setting! so cross never had to do this before !!!!!

Our sleep mats are beyond repair and we need to invest in 30 more sleep mats. Each time we purchase the Snoozemats they split down the sides and the sponge comes out and potentially poses a hazard to children choking! Therefore, can anybody recommend some good sleep mats that are easy to store, reasonably priced and long lasting. Am I looking for the impossible???
