Hi, Not sure which section to put this under. I am looking for black and white drawings in Clip Art to attach to drawer name labels e.g Mary might have a monkey next to her name. I found some list year by googling but can I find them again? Any ideas? Or is there somewhere else that has a nice easy format for making black and white drawer labels? Thanks

Hi, I am looking to start a local playgroup and preschool. I have found premises, but need (lots) of money. I have just undertaken my EYP, and have knowledge and experience in early years, but I don't have business knowledge, and don't know where to start. I know there is a shortage of playgroups in my area, and so there is a gap to fill, but need funding. Does anyone have any advice as to where I can go begging, or who I could ask for support and advice??

Hi everyone, I have just put a suggestion on the Government's Spending Challenge webiste (see link below). They are asking how they can cut spending and I have suggested that paying the providers directly for tax credits that SHOULD be paid to providers towards fees (which are frequently not), is a good way of them saving money and preventing fraud. http://spendingchallenge.hm-treasury.gov.uk/ I know this has been campaigned for before and that the argument is that the parents would feel it was an invasion of their privacy for us to know how much they were being helped, but if they are commiting fraud by not paying their fees to us but spending it elsewhere, …

Please Help, We are a Pre-School where the children refer to us as Mrs/Miss and would like to change this to being refered to by our first names, as we know so many Pre-School's and Nursery's do. We have a mixature of new and older staff and the older staff are reluntant to alter there ways as this has always been done this way and it is what they are used! - and wont be talked around. Do any of you know, if it is suggested within the EYFS that by calling Pre-School staff by there first name is the prefered way? or has Ofsted made any comments on the way the children refer to you when inspecting?
