Supervisor Interview

Hi all, I know it's a bit late in the day but I had a phone call today offering me an interview tomorrow for a Supervisor position. I had an interview for assistant at another playgroup last week which I think went well but am worried about the depth of the questions that may be asked for a Supervisor! I was previously Deputy Supervisor and believe I may have the knowledge required even if I don't realise it yet! Does anyone have a list of possible questions or can anyone give me some tips as I am feeling really nervous!! Thanks in advance for any help!

Can any of you lovely people help me out here??? We are a pre-school that operates in a local church hall. During the day we have the areas we use to ourselves. There a two doors which access the main coridoor but both of these have latches on which are in place during the session. Now upstairs is a residential flat where the caretaker lives, we never see them and they never access the rooms we use during our operating hours so do they still need to be CRB? Also does the Vicar who again is on site but doesn't enter our rooms?

Hi ya all, I am in the process of improving the reports we send to the schools when the children leave the nursery. I was going to include a brief description of what the children can do in each area of development, also the current age level they are working at in each area. I was going to include a photo of the child and a quote from them about what they like at nursery. Is there anything eles that as a reception teacher you would like to know about the child. Thank you in advance Karen x x

I am about to apply for funding for a member of staff, and the application form states that it is advisable to have a contract in place with the trainee with regard to undertaking the training. Does anyone have such a contract, or suggest wording I could use? Many thanks.

What does everyone do for their Sept leavers going to school. Someones mentioned a teddy bears picnic and inviting the parents along as another way of emphasizing our partnership with parents. Last yr we had an end of term party, bouncy castle, face painting and a few games. Does anyone do this?

One of my staff resigned last week, gave the usually story better job and progress, said i understand and wished her good luck. I advertised job and got someone within days. Staff now came back saying sorry that she made a mistake likes the nursery. I have now employed this other staff who have started seem very eager and pleasant problem now is i cannot afford 2 staff. The older staff is a pleasant person as well good with her job, sickness is not all that bad although she has an underlying health problem, which does not affect her work. I have told her she can stay, could not help but say yes, now stuck with an extra staff, which i think has potentlal. Help
