Our LA has directed us to another DfE consultation on 30 hour 'free' entitlement.......opened on 3/4 sorry cannot do a link but it can be found on consult.education.gov.uk this is not a box but a 9 page question and answer format - but quite honestly - I cannot understand half the questions - felt like I must have 'missed' some information somewhere???? Or could it be I'm all consulted out?

If the staff member had a brilliant track record but you are now beginning to notice she is struggling at work and at home ? That mistakes were happening (only little things, but could have lead to something more serious) If she was on medication so strong that she has had her driving licence taken from her by the DVLA? I have a staff training day coming up and I was wondering if anyone has any activities that they have done and went really well. We always cover safeguarding, Fire training and food hygiene but I'm looking for some inspiration to make the day fun and active. We are a team of 11, get on really well and work with children 1-4 years. Thanks in advance.

Would like to know what is involved, is it expensive? pros and cons really Thank-you in advance!

In this case the person providing the reference has not deleted either 'do' or 'do not' and therefore has not given permission either way. Does anyone know where I stand legally in terms of sharing this reference under a subject access request? We do have a legal helpline with our insurance & I will contact them after the …

Is there a requirement to have a DBS renewed after a certain length of time for staff ? If so, after how long and is this just guidance or a legal requirement from OfSTED ?

I am going to join the committee so that I can remain the Nominated Person. Does anyone know what needs to be done. Do I go through the same process as any other new committee member. Does that mean I need a new DBS check?
