Hi Following on from children's interests in dinosaur, we want to set up a dinosaur museum role play. We want it to include a variety of dinosaur themed discovery type activities, but also include the other areas of learning. So far we have got: measuring toy dinosaurs digging for fossils in soil and leaves- with magnifying glasses and brushes to brush off dirt playdough- making dinosaur fossils Has anyone got any other ideas of what we could add? Thanks

Hi Has any one made flour babies with their children (balloons with faces filled with flour). I remember having them when I was younger and it was very therapeutic squashing it in my hands and we have a few boys who I think it may help when they get upset/angry. We do have feely balloons in our discovery and have had only had 3 burst over the year. Do you think the balloons will be strong enough as a tension reliever for our boys? Hope that makes sense :1b

Also, have you got any activities we could do that are a…

Hi Our children have requested a sweet shop role play for after easter. We thought we would save easter egg boxes and chocolate boxes. I was thinking of having playdough to make their own sweets. Any one done this before or got any ideas? Thank you :1b

One of our little lads loves dinosaurs and because we've been gardening this week I thought we could dig for dinosaur bones next week, keep everyone away from the freshly planted seeds! Can I use real bones, bleached and washed or does anyone know where i can buy affordable large plastic ones?
