Magic Reindeer Dust

Hi! I am just wondering if anyone has every done magic reindeer dust before? I have done it in the past and is a lovely thing to give the children at the end of term. It is just porrige oats mixed with glitter and put in a small bag tied with ribbon. The reason why i'm asking is becasue their is a small rhyme that goes with it but I can't find a copy of that rhyme..! The idea is that the magic dust helps santas reindeer find their way to the childs house/door incase he can't get down the chimmney or there is no chimmney. If anyone knows the rhyme could they let me know thanks!

Hello all i'm after some easy and cheap ideas. we only opened in September so money is tight. I was after some ideas for activities to make.. i want to put together a box for mathematical development and CLL but all ideas will be welcome. One tip i was given was to cut up broom stales to use during music, the kids love using them to keep the beat to the music, and at 79p and a lick of child friendly paint (makes about 9 depending on size you want them) cant be bad Cheers Jo

I've been using Magenta's firework rhyme all this week and the children have loved it, so I thought I would share my rhyme card for next week in return - 5 litttle men in a flying saucer. 5_litle_men.doc

Please Help

Hello, Could really use your help to get a few ideas going for an observation on my teaching nxt wk. The focus is 'writing - children as active learners'. They wont really expand on this and I seem to have a brain blockage and can't think of what to do. Have had lots of observations (NQT last yr) and they have always gone well but each time I get really panicy and nervous and don't seem to be able to go with the flow like I normally would if no one was watching. My topic nxt week is Eid (wanted to spend a while on festivals). Any inspiring ideas would be so appreciated!!! Thanks in advance Emma x
