Hello. Does anybody have a copy of the 2005 psla constitution document, or know where I could get one that they wouldn't mind sharing with me? I have called them but the lady I need is on annual leave.

Hi everybody..some advice needed. I work in a small committee run Pre school with children from 2-4 years. There is a day when there will be 2 staff working. Are they allowed to have a level 3 and an unqualified committee member working? Or does there need to be a level 2 and 3? Thank you in advance

I do not deal with pay, but I'm asking on behalf of our committee. For level 2 and level 3 staff with exactly the same roles and responsibilities do you pay exactly the same rate to each level 2 and each level 3, or do you pay slightly less to workers under the age of 25 in line with the NLW and NMW bands? Currently we don't have any younger team members but the committee are considering what would be appropriate for any future appointments.

Hi everyone. Our AGM is due soon and I was just wondering if any of you have had your AGM during Covid and how you managed it. Not quite sure how to do it when we're not allowed to gather in large groups (obviously being optimistic there that a 'large group' would turn up 🤣🤣). I'm thinking an outdoor one would have been ideal, not quite the weather for it now!! We normally have ours at the preschool around 3pm so that it fits in with people picking up their children. Obviously going to have to change that. Any ideas would be fab. Thank you

We are a committee run setting and have asked the trustees to look at staff pay again, for the second time this year, especially as they will soon have to advertise for a new level 3 staff member. Level 3 pay has been pegged back so that unqualified staff are earning only a few pence less than level 3s due to the minimum wage increase in April. It literally is pence and this leaves little incentive for anyone taking on a level 3 role and additional responsibilities. Several years ago there was a hierarchy set up with pay for individual roles and levels. Since then other staff pay rises have not kept up with the rise in minimum wage. Can any committee settings…

How long do you get to update the trustees names on the charity commission? A committee member hasn't been added for nearly a year after the AGM. although we have enough trustees without this person being added. It was all because we were waiting on Ofsted to send a 'suitability decision letter' which took over 7 months due to issues their end with EY2 forms.

Hi All I've been on/off this forum for several years and this week at our AGM will be stepping down as Chair for our Pre-School . So, my (hopefully) final question is my replacement. No one has volunteered to take on the role and I haven't activity searched. I think people know it comes with responsibility and aren't overly keen . Would a replacement need to be named at the AGM or is it down to the new Committee to name someone at their next meeting. I'm also the nominated individual with Ofsted so assume it needs to be done quickly. I don't want to leave the setting high and dry or on a bad note but I get the feeling I may be guilt tripped to sta…
