Sorry not sure if it is the right place but couldnt see where it would fit!! we are thinking we MIGHT offer our funded children extended hours at the beginning and end of the normal pre-school day. Have any of you any expereince of this? Does it work? What are the pitfalls? Do we have to get permission from ofsted,leas local council, neighbours? We are full day care. Also do you provide a meal at tea time? Would toast cereal for breakfast their own packed lunch and then a snack for tea be suffice? with of course the usual preschool drinks and snack in between? Do you provide holiday care too? Not school age children just for pre-school children. does this need permisi…

I have done a quick search and looked in several places but cannot seem to find one anywhere... does anyone have a job description for an After School Club Supervisor... The preschool I used to run has just started one,and while they have someone in post there is currently no job description in place... It would be very useful to see an example Thanks for any help Inge (And I was not sure where to put this, schools or PVI , so plumped for here as it is a PVI setting extending hours.. please move if needed to more appropriate area..)

Hi all, I have just been promoted to out of school club co-ordinator as well as early years. This means doing the paper work for the out school club but not working hands on. I have no experience of out of school club and need help, what policies do I need and I would be very very grateful if anyone has any examples.
