Hi I am currently doing my level 3 forest school practitioner award and have just done a quick search on Forest Schools. There are obviously lots of people who are Forest School Leaders or who attend Forest School sessions with their group so was just wondering if there was cause to add a Forest School forum to the list? People seem to have posted their Forest School queries in a variety of forums. Also wondered if anyone has a sample of a leaflet they give to parents introducing/explaining about their forest school sessions. Thanks

Just a quick question, if you're a pre-school who can't offer free flow, what is the minimum amount of time you spend outside and would you mind sharing you're routine please? We go out everyday but our outdoor area is shared so we have to set up and pack away each day (and same for indoors), so sometimes we only manage 20 - 30 mins outdoors and we've been told we should aim for a minimum of an hour. Thanks Karrie

I am hoping to start some forest skills work from september and as is always the case there is no money for proper training. Has any one got any ideas to get me started?

Hi all, just wondering if any of you are doing forest school activities, and if you could share things that really work and the children enjoy, so far, we have made dens, mud pie faces, exploring the wood, bark rubbings, magic painting, finding woodland colours, painting with mud, spider's web with wool.............be grateful if any of you have more ideas Thanks
