Well hi folks, its that time of year again soon. Yes Children in need (next Friday, 16th November) The themes as you will know is ‘do something different’ In true FSF style, we are doing exactly that. We are holding the great big FSF quiz, and hope that you will all join in with both the questions and answers. Ill explain how it works on the day (ie when I’ve decided), but between now and next week, what we need from you is questions. There is only one basic rule for asking questions. The answers must be found within the forum. They can be as easy or as difficult as you like, in fact we need a good mixture so that we can help newer members find their way …

Don't forget it's Children in Need next Friday (17th). There are some great interactive games on the website. I've spent ages playing the "Picnic for Pudsey" and "pick a pair of pants". I'm sure the children will love them if you have internet access in your setting. http://www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey/funandgames/

Thanks everyone for your contributions to our children in need challenge. We did indeed pass our target and bankrupt half the membership at the same time. Perhaps someone clever (steve?) could work out roughly what we should have raised through our pledges? Aplogies to anyone trying to post any serious threads yesterday, Im sure between us we will bring them back to attention over the weekend. (not that Im suggesting our story wasnt serious....I did think we should publish as the first official FSF story....now any budding artists out there?)

Ok folks, its Children in Need day and we need to do something dont we? So our challenge is to make the longest thread we have so far made, but we only have one day to do it! Steve is very kindly (?) going to locate the previous longest thread and tell us how long it is so that we know what we are aiming for. I will personally donate 10p for every post made between now and midnight tomorrow (the 19th). to Children in Need. I am going to change my avatar to Pudsey Bear for one day only! The theme of this thread is 'The 5 words at a time story' . I will start. You may add 5 words but only 5. If you wish to pledge for each post made, please do so…
