Hi Here at the FSF we produce a monthly newsletter to keep you updated with news from the sector, details about new site content and the odd conversation that you might like to join in with. We don't send out daily emails or even weekly ones so we wondered, if you have checked the box not to receive news from us because you thought you might be deluged with emails you might like to reconsider and subscribe again. It is easy to do this, from your name on the top menu bar select the drop down list (1). Select "Account Settings" (2) then select Notification Settings (3). Then from the list of options select 'Newsletter' and check the b…

Following a forum area If you wish to be notified every time a new topic is started in a particular forum area that interests you just go to the forum area and click into it, for example 'Learning differences – SEND' in the screenshot below and (1) click follow and then (2) decide how you wished to be notified of new topics started in the forum area. Following a particular topic If you spot a particular topic that interests you then you can follow the specific topic and…

I've just had a lovely day with a few of my Reception children. As we are learning about harvest this week, we had flour, sieves, wooden spoons, funnels, baking tins etc in the water tray (without water). I was observing a group of four children having a thoroughly great time, when one said to the others: 'you can be in charge of the lumps, and i will do the shivering' Ahh how lovely!!! Those are the times when you can't help but smile

Please, please be careful when you are uploading a moving avatar, for some people they can cause serious problems. Migraine or headache is a dsitinct possibility and even seizure. It only takes a moment for these symptoms to arise and while migraine symptoms are more easily offset by moving away from the image causing the problem, a seizure is not so easily offset. Unfortunately a member has experienced that today and the consequences of a seizure can be long term ie loss of driving license.
