Is anyone else finding children very hyper in setting already over christmas. Our children are bouncing off the walls as I type. I'm hid in office giggling to self as staff trying to calm them down and trying to get them to listen to staff.

woke up to find only a few inches of snow and yet the chaos has started !! took over an hour for kids to get to school only to be sent home yet no notification on website or radio - they have just walked home !! fortunately preschool is open this afternoon as i live across road from it ! have you had snowfalll yet in your area??

Hi all I have just bagged a bargain at my local charity shop- a box set of We're Going on a Bear Hunt, book, DVD and board game. It is almost in mint condition minus a couple of stands for the characters (will make some or steal from another game I have) but what is missing are the rules/instructions on how to play. I have done a quick google search but nothing significant came up. I was wondering if any of you have the game or know of someone that does that could share the rules with me? I bought it so that I could add the resource to our Bear Hunt story sack.

Granddaughter has been tapping the keys on my laptop. It is now frozen and will not accept mouse plate commands and only a few keyboard ones - can anyone offer advice on returning device to normal again pleeeeeeese.

I'm feeling a bit disgruntled about my school's PTA (of which I'm a committee member). Before I make a complete Mrs Whingiepants of myself could I ask for your esteemed opinions, as parents and people who work with children, please. Should PTA functions (Fairs, Discos etc) support the school's standards or is the PTA a separate entity apart from the school? Do Healthy Schools standards apply to PTA functions held on school premises? If the church with which the school is affiliated supports FairTrade activities, should PTA functions?
