Eye Infections

Hi everyone! I'm not sure if anyone's on to answer my question but I'd really appreciate it if there is! I woke up this morning and couldn't even open my left eye (I'm sorry if I go into too much detail here) I ended up pulling out 3 eyelashes trying and ended up getting a warm flannel. They were fused together with some sort of yellowish crust. It was also really red, like on the water-line, and bloodshot. I've never had conjunctivitis or eye infections before so I don't know if that's what it is. They were a bit blurry yesterday and it felt like I had something in my eye, like when you have an eyelash or something. I called work to see if I was OK to go in …

It's just been pointed out that I have arrived at 8000 posts! I don't know how that happened - obviously I have too much to say, so perhaps it's time to go to that mythical desert island with my eight records, a book and a luxury. But what should I take? What would YOU pick?

My son is in year 9 and had an injury in a PE lesson at schol on Monday. We were called to the school as they thought he had broken his arm/wrist. We took him to hospital where he was x-rayed and they said it was just sprained. Today I had a call saying the x-ray has been reviewed and they think there is a fracture, so to bring him in. He is now in plaster for 6-8 weeks as it appears there is a fracture to the wrist. So, ignoring NHS incompetance for a moment (!) I was just wondering if I need to inform the school, as this happened in one of their lessons? In pre-school I'm sure we need to inform Ofsted if a child sustains an injury whilst in our care resulting in a broke…

hi has anyone else received a letter from their public service health team advising them that they will be coming into their setting to undertake a dental examination on all children attending their setting? they will send us letters to send out to parents/carers for permission for them to do this then a date will be set when a trained dentist and nurse will come into the setting and each child will in turn be asked to lay on a table to have their teeth examined - a sterilised dental mirror and light will be used for each child - parents will then be informed by letter as to whether their child has dental decay so they can get treatment apparently this dental survey wi…

I've read the other threads about insurance for new drivers, but what I want to know is, do I buy the car and then find the insurance or work out the insurance as best I can and then get the car? My insurer, Direct Line, wont let me put my son on my insurance to drive my car more than once a week. He only passed yesterday and is itching to get on the road. It all seem's so complicated and long winded.
